Teyana Taylor's Dates for Oscars 2026 Revealed
The Academy just might need to add a Best Dressed category.
After all, the Oscars 2026 red carpet outside Dolby Theatre is full of potential nominees. For one, One Battle After Another star Chase Infiniti arrived at the March 15 ceremony in a gorgeous custom Louis Vuitton lilac gown with a ruffled train and De Beers jewelry.
Meanwhile, Hamnet director Chloé Zhao turned heads in a gothic Gabriela Hearst gown and veil with ruffles and bell sleeves. Chanel was also a designer of many incredible looks, withTeyana Taylor sporting the designer along with Tiffany and Co. jewelry and Nicole Kidman wearing a Chanel peplum gown. While stars won’t get any hardware for their Oscars looks, there are plenty of awards to receive this evening. This year, Sinners broke the record for the most nominated film of all time at the annual award show, with a whopping 16 nominations including acting nods for Michael B. Jordan, Wunmi Mosaku and Delroy Lindo.
Indeed, Sinners is also up for the biggest trophy of the night, Best Picture, alongside Marty Supreme, The Secret Agent, Bugonia, Train Dreams, F1, Hamnet, One Battle After Another, Frankenstein and Sentimental Value. (For every Oscars 2026 winner so far, see here.)
And while no contest is quite as stiff as Best Dressed this evening, several categories for potential Oscars to be won are up in the air. When it comes to the nominees for Best Supporting Actress, which include Wunmi, Teyana, Amy Madigan, Elle Fanning and Inga Ibsdotter Lilleaas, it could be anyone’s race.
Case in point: Teyana nabbed a Best Supporting Actress Golden Globe for her performance as Perfidia Beverly Hills in One Battle After Another, while Amy Madigan also won a Golden Globe, Actor Award and Critics Choice Award for her Weapons Supporting Actress performance.
However, at the British Academy Film Awards, or BAFTAs, Wunmi took the prize, proving that this year, the traditional indicators for who will take the Academy Award won’t be so trustworthy this year.

The measurement is just as unclear when it comes to Best Actor, which includes nominees Michael, Timothée Chalamet, Wagner Moura, Leonardo DiCaprio and Ethan Hawke. The Marty Supreme star, for his part, took home the Critics Choice and a Golden Globe for his Marty Supreme performance, while The Secret Agent’s Wagner also scored a Golden Globe and Sinners star Michael took the Actor Award.
