No injuries to people or animals were reported after a section of the roof collapsed at a Kewaunee County farm on Sunday morning. A video sent to a Green Bay television station showed a portion of the roof above a holding area at Junion Homestead near Casco, Wisconsin, collapsing on March 15 due to the heavy snow accumulation. The National Weather Service reported that parts of Kewaunee County received over 20 inches of snow, with wind gusts reaching approximately 45 to 55 miles per hour.
The dairy farm, now in its seventh generation, was founded in 1868 and hosted the 2018 Kewaunee County Breakfast on the Farm event to celebrate its 150th anniversary.
